Writing

I think it's interesting the way we evolve within one lifetime. While I did some creative writing in my youth, it wasn't until I reached a crisis point in my 30's that I felt compelled to write. Maybe this happens to all of us.....maybe it doesn't; but for me, writing became a way of identifying my emotions, naming them and validating them.

I started writing poetry and had a few of my poems published in an obscure women's book. For years after that I seemed to have nothing to say.

Recently, I expanded my writing from poetry into fiction and web content.

Here is some of my fiction: "The Note" published in Taj Mahal Review, June 2006, and

"Coffee Klatch" published in Taj Mahal Review, June 2007.
