Graphic Arts

As applied to this graphic "Artists Aye!", the first step was to paint the eye and stylized hatbrim with black on a large piece of watercolor paper. I created this drawing back in the early '90s when people still had business cards done at the printers, and I used the graphic for my cards.

I kept the artwork and a couple of years ago I used my scanner to digitize the graphic, after which I added the text "Artist's Eye" and used it as an avatar.

Just this week I decided to use it as a logo for a new domain and changed the text to read "Artists Aye!", as I felt that would reach out to more people.

I create the backgrounds and layout, the buttons and the pictures for all of my websites, and I enjoy it so much that I've started a small business. You can see more of my work at Whispergrass Artworks.
